We have always been and will always be completely non-profit. We are currently working on obtaining 501 C3 status. God Bells are non-denominational, and to be used as you see fit. The intent is to provide you with an additional resource to remind you of your God. |
In 1999 I started a spiritual journey that led me to start searching for God everywhere I traveled A friend of mine gave me a "spiritual" cassette tape that suggested to see and hear God in all things since He is either Everything or He is Nothing. I was like Waldo on my search, where's God? I started to find Him everywhere, in the mountains, at the beach and most definitely in the sky. I put a small brass bell that I had had for years in my car so I could be reminded I was never alone, that I was always protected and loved. Some days that little bell would ring all by itself or if I hadn't heard it in awile, I would tinkle the brass and say, "Thank You God". It helped me so much that I started sharing my God Bell story with all my friends. God wanted me to remind them too that they were not alone so I started giving away bells

Several years ago, I was sharing with a friend about the road rage incidents and the anger I was experiencing. She gave me a beautiful little brass bell, and told me to call it my "God Bell". I was to hang it from my rear view mirror. She said it would be hard to think about God and hurting His kids at the same time.
She was right. It really worked for me,. I started slowing down and letting people into my lane, etc. It really helped to change me. It made me much more loving and tolerant, and at the end of my day, I had thought of God more times that I would have without that silly little bell.
So I too started handing out God Bells, I had been handing them out for about 5 years, when I was inspired with this great idea that I shared with some friends. If we can get enough people to donate (even very small amounts), we can put baskets of God Bells in every children's hospital, cancer center, and veterans hospital, etc. We can have God Bells ringing around the world promoting peace, love, tolerance, faith and hope. And so the God Bell foundation was created.
Every dollar donated puts a God Bell in the hands of a person experiencing some sort of a tragedy in life.

You can buy bells for Family or Friends on our "Buy God Bells" page. All proceeds go right back into distributing free God Bells to children’s hospitals, cancer centers, veterans' hospitals, and many more locations as God reveals them to us.
